About our Pastor
Pastor Lynn was appointed the pastor of Lee Chapel African Methodist Episcopal (A.M.E.) Church on October 12, 2019 by Bishop Frank Madison Reid, III. She received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biomedical Engineering from Wright State University. While in college, she attended Wayman Chapel A.M.E. Church of Dayton, Ohio, where she truly began to find her personal relationship with Jesus Christ. She received her Master of Divinity Degree from United Theological Seminary in Dayton, Ohio, and served as Youth Minister at Wayman Chapel for 5 years. In 2008, she was ordained an Elder in the A.M.E. Church and in 2009 she was appointed pastor of Christ Our Redeemer A.M.E. Church in Dayton, Ohio where she served for 7 years. On December 1, 2016, Rev. Felts was appointed as pastor at Brown Chapel A.M.E. Church and served 3 years. Rev. Felts loves to teach and has a love for working with children. She served as Secretary of the Dayton Methodist Ministerial Alliance and she is currently serves as the Dean of the Ohio-South Ohio Board of Examiners,
Conference Trustee of the Ohio-South Ohio Conference, and she received her Doctor of Ministry degree from Payne Theological Seminary on May 6, 2022. She was nominated and elected the first female Treasurer of the Ohio-South Ohio Annual Conference.
Pastor Lynn is married to Chris Felts and they have two children; Chrishonda Nicole Reily (Wendell) and Christopher Ryan Felts.
