Sanctuary Mass Choir

The Lee Chapel Sanctuary Mass Choir sings during our 10:30AM Sunday morning worship service.

Young Adult Choir

The Lee Chapel Young Adult Choir are 18 to 35 years old and sing once a month.

Angel Choir

These are our 5 to 17 year old songbirds that sing once a month.  

Men of Faith

This is our acapella men's group that sings once a month during our Sunday morning worship service and ministers beyond the walls of Lee Chapel.  If a member is in a nursing home or hospital, they can be assured to receive a visit and a song from our Men of Faith.  

Stewardess Board 

Responsible for preparing and dressing the altar and pulpit area for communion every first Sunday of the month.  A Stewardess also changes the paraments to reflect the colors of the liturgical calendar and assists when someone joins the church.

Usher Board

The ushers of Lee Chapel welcome all parishioners into the church. They are very hospitable, loving, caring and courteous. If someone needs assistance while at Lee Chapel, an usher is always available to assist.

Women's Missionary Society

Supports the ministries of the church and foster missionary activities at Lee Chapel as well as on the conference and district levels of the African Methodist Episcopal Church.

Health & Wellness Ministry

Helps in facilitating awareness of making choices that lead to a healthy and fulfilling life. At various times of the month, they check blood pressure, host blood drives and share healthy goodie samples along with the recipe.

Lay Organization

Supports the programs of Lee Chapel, fosters systematic and regular study of the Doctrine and Discipline of the African Methodist Episcopal Church and parliamentary procedure.  The Lay Organization is very active on the local, conference and district levels of the A.M.E. Church.

Praise Dancers 

Lee Chapel has a wonderful praise team of varying ages dancing to the glory of God. 

Young People's Division (YPD)

Are under the direction of the Women's Missionary Society. They service projects in the community, and host workshops on Christian social relations and family life that deal with such topics as drug and alcohol abuse, personal development, teenage sexuality, communication and morals.

Marketing Ministry

This is a ministry that is currently on our wish list.  If you have experience with podcasts, blogging and managing websites, making announcements of events come to life with images and photos, newsletters, and brochures, reach out to us.

Sound and Media Ministry

This is our team that ensure we have the proper sound from mics during our worship services and special programs.  This team also live stream our worship service and bible studies along with managing our social media platforms.

Membership Committee

This committee keeps track of the local membership contact information, wedding anniversaries, and birthdays.

Church School

The ministry of Bible teaching and learning that is the foundation for the educational ministry of the Church. 

Bible Study

We have two bible studies: Wednesday at noon and Thursday at 6:30PM.

Youth Church is every 4th Sunday of the month.

Bring or send your children and grandchildren to our Lee Chapel A.M.E. Church Youth Service.  This youth-centered experience allows the young people to fully participate as leaders in praying, singing and praising, collecting the offering and ushering. The monthly lessons include an age-appropriate lesson for young people from the ages of 3-17

Youth Church

The youth will gather together and then breakout into their class based on their age. In order to help them articulate what they have learned, one of the youth is selected to speak before the congregation on first Sundays on what they learned in Youth Church.

Sick and Shut-in Ministry

Visits the sick in nursing homes, hospitals and at home. Even though they can't be at church, we work to let them know they are important to our Lee Chapel family.
